Energy Saving
Invest in a window that has earned the ENERGY STAR rating. This will insure that you have purchased an energy efficient window.

Appearance
Choose a window that is esthetically pleasing, not only for your own enjoyment, but to increase the market value of your home. The right new windows can add value to your property.

Cost/Value
What window is the best value? Vinyl windows can range from $150-$1200 a piece and wood windows from $500-1,600 a piece. How long do you plan to live in your home? Purchasing windows is an investment. What is the return on your investment? If you spend $500 for each window, how much money will you actually be saving: in fuel, maintenance, painting, and cleaning?

Quality
We all want quality! We don't want to waste our money and we don't want to worry whether we made the right decision. How do you really know that what you are buying is quality? Take a close look at the warranty. If a company warrants a window for 20 years, then the manufacturer knows the product is going to last at least that long. A warranty is a good measure of the value of your investment. If you spend $500 on a window with a 20-year warranty, that is a $25/year investment. If the warranty is only 10 years, it is a $50/year investment. With the longer warranty, you are getting twice the return on your investment.

Reliability
Can you have confidence that the window is going to operate smoothly every time? Will the company that installs the windows stand behind the product and installation? Does the window have a solid frame? Are the seals going to last? Seal failure causes condensation and can lead to mold growth.

Maintenance
Besides energy efficiency, maintenance is the greatest benefit of new windows. New windows should not need maintenance and they should be easy to clean. Look for windows that operate with a modern block and tackle balance, and of course, windows that are easy to clean from the inside -- the days of cleaning from the outside on a ladder are over.

Service
Whom do you call if you have a problem with a window that was installed by a middleman company? Whom do you call if you have a problem with a window that is installed by the window company itself? If you buy from Fit Perfect Windows, we guarantee that you will not deal with the hassles associated with third-party companies; Fit Perfect warrantees both the window and the installation.
